Wherigo\\kit

Wherigo\\kit (abbreviated as "Kit") is an online Wherigo cartridge builder for beginners, introduced in 2012. The builder takes its name from its kit-based approached to cartridge building: users choose from the available kits and create a cartridge along those lines.

History

Ranger Fox created the first version of Kit around Christmas 2011 in response to Groundspeak's comment that cartridge building was difficult due to its high learning curve. A demo was shown in January 2012 and Kit was later released to the community in March 2012. Since that time, Kit was always meant to have the lowest learning curve of any Wherigo cartridge builder, partially due to its scaled back features.

A second, open source version, has been planned for release in late 2018.
